July 1–31, 2021 | Spray painted plywood covers a large hole in the floor of the gallery.

July 2–31 | Safety cones punctuate the room.                                       


July 3–31 | An American Flag themed inflatable tube man takes up temporary residence at the venue.

July 4, 2–6pm | BBQ.


July 8–31 | Background noise fills the space through subtitles in vinyl lettering...[wind blowing], [waves crashing], [people screaming].

July 15–31 | Twelve framed color prints identify specters haunting the scene— “AUTHOR, STATESMAN, SCHOLAR, HUMANITARIAN, HISTORIAN, PATRIOT, RANCHMAN, EXPLORER, NATURALIST, SCIENTIST, SOLDIER, CONSERVATIONIST.”

July 22–31 | A ‘Stars & Stripes Bamboo Torch’ consumes the available oxygen in a freestanding acrylic display case, extinguishing itself in the process.

July 29, 6–8pm | Closing event: a series of readings on exhaustion.
